SDCC contests for non-attendees

BRING A LITTLE BIT OF THE SDCC FREAK PARTY HOME WITH YOU!

It's taken me a while to get around to this, but I brought back a few things from SDCC that we need to give away.

1) I have Sideshow t-shirts - the one with Vader on them.

2) I have the beautiful large size brochures for Sculpting a Galaxy, autographed by the author of the book - Lorne Peterson!


3) And I have a full size 27x40" poster from the party courtesy of artist extraordinaire Frankenfan -

5)As well as a special CD of Freak music I made but was never played at the party!

So send an email to me with your board name, real name and mailing address to dstephan@sideshowcollectors.com with
"SDCC contest" in the subject line and you'll be entered in a drawing for some or all of these prizes.

If you were at the party and got a t-shirt you aren't eligible for the shirt, but are for everything else. If I draw your name, I'll just take the shirt out of the prize package.

There's just one poster and one banner, but multiples of everything else so a few people will win.

Please tell me if you prefer Large or X-Large (sorry, no other sizes) and I'll try to accomodate.

You all thought I forgot right? That's my plan, lull you into a sense of outrage and the spring it on you. These were drawn at random, so don't come complaining to me that a newbie won something and you've been here for years and never won anything. I'm sure SSC will be giving out the shirts throughout the year anyway.

Also, if you are a banner or poster winner but aren't interested in that prize, please let me know and I'll draw another name (from the whole list).

Hello everybody. I'm here to spear head the arrival of the prizes for the SDCC contest for non-attendees.

Today the poster, t-shirt and 'sculpting a galaxy' brochure arrived. In keeping with the theme of the t-shirt, I find your lack of faith in Dave disturbing. I shall wear this t-shirt with pride, even though I don't have a great interest in Star Wars, I am sure it will create an interest in others, and question just what Sideshow Collectibles are, to the ordinary person on the street. Even in an unconscious and subtle way. I am storing the poster, till I can find a frame or have it laminated.

Did you know that the priority mail boxes now have flat rate versions? It looks like the same box as the one that you pay by weight, but it costs $8.10 to send it.

And did you know if you put postage on it based on weight they'll return it to you asking for the rest of the $8.10?

Sounds like it, the one I received to Switzerland has cost $ 6.20 and got here within 5 days.

I put the wrong postage on the boxes - so they came back. I didn't use the USPS boxes for foreign. So they arrived faster.

Wow, I just got my package today and was like "who in the world was cool enough to send me this shirt and book?"
I was racking my brain who the name on the return address was for about 20 mins before I remembered Dave's name. Then I remembered this contest. I had no idea I'd won anything because I forgot to check.

Anyway, thank you very sincerely Dave. You are truly a good man to have given me such a cool prize after all the grief I've given you. You could very easily have drawn my name and just tossed it aside due to your personal feeling about me but you didn't and for that I have immense respect for you.

Anyone who ever claims you are not a fair person could not be more wrong.
I will wear the shirt with pride and being a Star Wars autograph collector, the Lorne Peterson signature is so cool to have because I'd probably never have had the chance to get it and to have it for free just made my week. Very,very cool.
