The star on he emblem looks Like the China / Taiwan flag design. Maybe this is the suit that the mandarin stole from Stark and customize it? I agree it looks like trash based on that pic alone, but maybe once they add the CGI and all that it wouldnt look as bad :lol

I think it looks awesome so far, but it's also just from the waist up, a bad angle, and bad quality. Keep that in mind. This movie is going to be sweeeet! I can't wait, I'm going to track down a 1/6 scale American Flag just for that pose, lol.

I agree, I dislike the over use of blue on the torso, I prefer the red torso from the comics. But we all know not to base set pics on what we will get in the final film. They are going to metallic the crap out of that for the film and maybe they might change there mind on the color scheme, but I doubt it.

As far as the figures go, I'm pretty much through with the IM suits unless it's something drastically different.

The only exception might be the Mark VII from the Avengers

I like the IP suit a lot too. Its very different.

And I am amazed that anyone would consider judging the suit, the movie or the potential toy from those spy screen shots. :slap:slap

-He is clearly NOT wearing the complete suit.
-We do not know if its going to be Iron Patriot, Detroit Steel or another character
-There most certainly will be CG added for the movie

You can like or dislike the armor. But these pics are nothing but a small qlimpse of what the character will probably be.

No doubt. I think what really bugs me is that this is sooo very close to Cap's costume, but with the stripes running the wrong way. Just looks wrong.

Iron Patriot is a suit worn by Norman Osborn after the fall of Tony Stark during Secret Invasion, Norman leads the Dark Avengers as Iron Patriot.

Detroit Steel is a suit created by Hammer Industries and is part of an army of Steelcorps. Basically he is used by Sasha Hammer to fight and destroy Tony.

Coldblood (Eric Savin) is a cyborg and has been confirmed to be played by the actor James Badge Dale who has been said to be the man in the pictures.

What we could potentially be getting is an army of extremis armoured warriors (Detroit Steel) in an armour style similar to that of Iron Man's (Iron Patriot) piloted by Eric Savin.

They should have gone a bit more Iron Monger than Iron Patriot IMO, Detroit Steel wasn't a close copy of Stark's suit.

I too love it. I was using the pic of the custom as an avatar for a while. I don't thing the character is going to be Iron Patriot, but who knows. I'll get it either way!!!

Ah okay, I was wondering if you were looking at something else, but figured you know, everyone has different opinions on things. We still don't know for sure if it's real, and it's not really a good angle to view the armor either. Still, I'm excited about it because it's more of a major change and that's refreshing after three movies.
