If memory serves me correctly, I got the AoD on eBay a couple years ago. Great sculpt that could have been a jaw dropping statue with a better paint job.

An 18" Abe done comic style would have been an instant purchase for me. I don't have a mild irritation with Mezco.... actually I'm still fairly pissed at them for not making Series 3 of the Hellboy comic figures. Originally, the SDCC exclusive Abe was meant to be apart of that series along with Rasputin, a frog monster, and (the one I wanted the most!) Anung Un Rama. I am severely disappointed this series didn't happen :ohbfrank:

I remember seeing the WIP of this piece somewhere on statueforum, I cant remember who made it. I had the chance to purchase one to at the time, kinda wish I did now after seeing these pics. I love 1:1 busts and this pieces is just fantastic, much better then the 1:1 SS version. Congrats on getting this piece!

Man, I love your collection, I keep coming back to look at it. The Mezko 18 inch Hellboy figures look pretty cool.

I'm not sure what happened with Electric Tiki. All I know is I'm still thoroughly disappointed the Liz and Abe never saw the light of day.

Keep an out for more updates to my collection. Still working on paying for a few more things :wink1:

The Tr!ckster print is gorgeous. When I first saw it I thought it was just a reprint of the cover from the 2011 program. Upon second look I saw the "ghost" of Hellboy :panic:

Exactly. I think its an unauthorized replica. Perhaps they are even using the original molds. It definitely looks very nice. There used to be a lot of them on Ebay.
