Hi,

I'm new to figures collections. I got few hot toys figures. So far no issues. I can read some comments online regarding some issues found on their figures. I'm thinking maybe can gather some info from figures collectors, sharing here as reference to see what are the possible factors that cause potential damage or issues to the figures.

Collector's location-
Figure-
Brand-
How long displayed-
Display environment (enclosed or open-air)-
Posing (museum stand or with action pose)-
Always change pose-
With/ without stand-
Cleaning frequency-
Cleaning method-
Issue-

Thanks.

It was in the storage of the MK IV that many have attributed the pink undies syndrome, blaming the silica sachets for sucking the life out of the paint.

Nothing is release without flaws or parts that can be damaged or destroyed over time. :dunno

Top two reasons for issues and 'potential factors':

1) Lack of quality assurance
2) Lack of quality control

This should be minimised as the price for figures keep on increasing.
