I was just wondering since they from time to time seem to have some sold out items for contest ect.

They did have a Cave Troll in the annual flash fiction contest, and a Minas Morgul in the comic-con newsletter raffle.

Both sold out for a long time...

And not offerd to those who are on the waitlists!?

So what more do they have in their warehouse whom they are not offering to us?

I believe the CT was an AP wasn't it? Not sure about the MM. But usually the long sold out items they offer for contest are AP that they use from time to time for just such a purpose.

Now as far as your question "What do they have in their warehouse"

Probably whatever the heck they feel like having, being on a waitlist entitles you to nothing but the chance to get whatever Sideshow wants to give you.

Here come the conspiracy theories again................

My guess is that these items aren't just sitting in the warehouse, but are items that some Sideshow "higher up" employee(s) had that they decided to donate to the contests. I know if I was one of the people that started the company I'd have been collecting one of everything, but nowadays that's a LOT of stuff so I'd be inclined to give some of it away to fans.

Here is the explanation.
The items that are showing up have been intentionally held back by SS. Normally it is done for damaged returns but they also hold back a few items for contest and such. This is common practice among specialty manufacturers like this. A good example is Master Replicas. In June they went through their warehouse and made some of the sold out items that were held for returns available to dealers, like several of their Elite Editions, the original Vader sabre and some thermal detonators.

A small comment that people that work there donating items. I had the opportunity to talk to one of the founds of Master Replicas at CC. You would think that he would have one of every item that they have ever made but he only has, at most, 3 of their products. One of the original blasters and a couple light sabres.
