hello,

just wondering what people use/do to make things looked weathered. im not talking about clothing im talking about heads/ arms/ masks ect. How to make something brand new look very old

any help would be fantastic

thanks :)

You can use the same thing you do with clothing. Another option is using pastel powder, then seal it with acrylic sealer.

Sorry to hijack the thread but what's the best way to do sun worn skin ( eg: a face )?

I've tried different washes but it always looks too pink or too brown.

If it's too brown then your washes has a lot of paint still, try to water them down even further and apply thin layers until you get it to your tastes.

Again, pastels are also a good way to do it, combine red and brown until you get a maroon color and then apply with brush little by little then seal with acrylic sealer.
