No worries there! A lot of us do the official chats, but aren't really into weekly chats. On average, you will have 50 to 100 people during peak times or events! Maybe more if Chicky and Dusty are feeling generous during the Con and do lots of Chat contests! :lol

I highly recommended getting an IRC chat program like mIRC or others! Many people have problems with the JAVA chat client, especially when the servers are busy! I've never had a problem or been kicked (except by Mark :rotfl ) since I switched to mIRC. It is a free download to try for 30 days... or used to be.

Thanks Battster. I always love the chats. We feel a little bad during Con though, as we really can't spend as much time in chat as I'd like, due to all the other demands on our time (all those darn Con attendees really get in the way of our chatting! ;)) This year we have a ton of action going on in the booth, so trying to divide our attentions between what's going on around us and what's going on in the chat (and what's getting posted on the web site!) is sometimes hard to juggle. But we're going to do the best we can, darn it! Plus, it gives you guys a chance to bond with each other :) And there's still chat-heavy 'taculars coming up again this year ;)

Oh, and roving Dusty Cam will be back for sure throughout the Con, live from the floor - taking requests from the audience :duff

I've GOT to make SDCC next year. It looks to be an amazing convention. But the Chats and Webcams are a great alternative to those of us unable to attend.
