Hi,
I have recently been introduced to making/kitbashing custom figures. I have started and finished a few already and have them proudly displayed. The next thing I'd ideally like to do is make a box for them. While they probably wont spend much time in a box, I'd like to have them around for transport purposes if I need to move or whatever. I kind of want to do something similar to the Art Figure Avenger box which has the figure lying in a styrofoam backing. My question is, has anyone done this? and if so, How hard/easy is it to make a custom box. What is the best way to cut/shape the styrofoam around the figure? Putting graphics on the box would be nice, but that is a customization that can come down the line.
Thanks for any and all input.
