Palpatine 12" - Sneak Peak

Ok, so you can barely see anything at all. In fact, all you see is hands, but hasnt anyone noticed the "Behind the show" feature with Adam Huges yet? There's a couple of shots in it from his customized Anakin 12". And what do we see in the last shot?

And besides, with Scum & Villainy likely to come out with the next figure, it'll be awhile before we get Palps, I'd think.

Be awhile? They've only just got into the Sith line. And we've only gotten 2 Sith so far. We've already had more Jedi than that. And there are quite a few open spots on that Comic-Con interactive booth map for the Star Wars 12" line.

I hope thats a custom because I would've hoped Palps' hands to be a bit more detailed than that. I am pretty darn sure it is just a custom.

You may be pretty warm there, I like your call with Palp and Lando... and yes at least one S&V fig. SSC really needs to catch up with their OT figs, but some say they are purposely holding them back to roll them out for next year's 30th Anniversary of ANH so Lando or Leia Ep 4 or 5 make sense to me...

yes i also want the 12" palpatine to be from ROTS(but with interchangeable robes to cover the mace fight and the yoda fight)

The PF will definitely be ROTJ.

ROTS Sidious will be the next Sith 12" figure. And as for upcoming Jedi, will they try to complete the ROTS showdown with Saesee Tiin and Agen Kolar? Or complete the Duel of the Fates with an Ep. I Obi-Wan? Or give us an Aayla Secura just for fun? Or will they reveal the ultimate Jedi...

I'm 99% sure that hand is from the RotS HASBRO Palpatine. You can see its those sleeves from the Yoda duel robe as well. The hand is probably just repainted like his Anakin.

I am 100% sure that hand isn't from the Hasbro Sidious. Because on the hasbro version his fingers are jointed. The ones in that picture are not.

Yep, you are right. His left hand looks like that though and I think that was what I was thinking. It now looks to me like it is a Sideshow hand (perhaps from an Art S. Buck?). It is definately the Yoda duel robes though.

That's a custom paint job of Anakin, correct? His lips and eyerbows look good in that last shot, even though his lower lip still looks a tad small.

I don't doubt those are Hasbro's, but customized with SSC hands/bodies, and the Dooku saber, too. Where's Dave to clear this up, I remember him posting some of those pics before. Maybe he'd know.

I agree with you there!! Let's finish off the humanoid Sith Lords already!! Then we can all sit and squirm in anticipation for an armored Darth Vader (crossing my fingers for an ROTS or ROTJ version first...)

However, I agree with those who say this Palpatine is merely a custom. You can tell by the sleeve. Only Hasbro can fray a sleeve cuff like that!! :lol :lol

That's just it...Sideshow wasn't adveristing Hasbro's 12 inch Sidious. They were spotlighting the custom paint job done on their own 1/6 scale Anakin by their newest staff member (at least, I'm assuming he's a new SSC staff member).

I think it might be from one of the gentlemen. They have those long fingers and the greyish skin colour.
