Anywho, I was doubting the exclusive myself, but then I saw that the thing is 7 inches across. They said it was meant for mounting. If ya ask me, this thing will actually look pretty cool behind him. I guess the look of the thing also resembles Jabba's palace, so it WILL (unlike other exclusives) make sense to be near the figure.

This will be a day long remembered as I ordered my first PF figure. I've had to cancel Exclusive Obi-Wan,Kit Fisto,T-800 Terminator and SDCC Vader to help pay for it but Boba is my favorite character and after missing out on the GG minibust a few years back there was no way I was going to miss this amazing piece.

Yeah, I noticed that too...it still looks GREAT...but I would have preferred a more upright stance as opposed to the 'pelvis out' stance. The BALL-JOINTED NECK is an AMAZING bonus though...being able to swivel the head back and forth and up and down. GREAT idea, especially for a figure like FETT. I agree, the exclusive is kinda lame...maybe SS will see all these 'lame' comments all over this thread and change it to something cooler...Like the Light up Han in Carbonite PF!!! :D Who knows, the Mandalorian Artifact may look better at SDCC...

if you live in US , you may have a point but, SS has a special agreement with FEDEX and ships like 50 % cheaper than the usual FEDEX prices to Turkey. I am so happy with FEDEX and shipment method and would never order from other retailer even if it is 80 $ cheaper.

Not at all. I think it will make the exclusive an easy pass for a lot of people. But I like the fact that it's unique and different. Also hopefully leaves the door open for a PF Han in Carbonite :D

I think we were all expecting something incredible for Fett's exclusive piece, and that's why we are so bummed. But remember past exclusives: training remote, mouse droid, Luke with poncho. Some of us complained about those as well but in the end we got past it and accepted the figures. I do not have all the exclusives. (missed Han and Luke in poncho) but I am happy with all the PF figures so far. Now it's on to scum and villany. Who will be first??

I think his stance looks just fine and very "Fett-like" in the 360. Absolutely fantastic figure.

That being said, I'm still more impressed with Exclusive Dagobah Luke--and I'm not just talking exclusive item vs. exclusive item, I think nailing TWO Mark Hamill likenesses in one figure is much more difficult than getting Fett's suit right.

Can't wait to see a PF Padme, Jar Jar (yep), and ROTS Anakin.

Just ordered Fett and I'm in total agreement with everyone that the Exclusive(if you can even call it that) sucks. One thing I'm surprised nobody has pointed out yet is that the stripes on his helmet are yellow. The stripes were actually red in ROTJ and yellow in ESB. Hopefully SS will take note and make that correction before it goes into production as everything else about the suit and paint scheme are spot-on perfect.

Very nice looking figure but for two things I noticed:

1) The "lean" ... ok its been said.

2) Does anyone else notice that his pants are a bit tight? The GG statue has them too baggy looking, but these are almost without any slack at all.

Small issues, and both are probably fixable once in hand.

As for the 'lean back' - I think it's to do with the weight of the jet pack... on the original actor. If you have something heavey on your back, you will have a strange body pose.

The SSC Boba Fett looks awesome. I ordered it within seconds. A serious competitor for the Attakus version. In fact, I even think the SSC version is better, but I'll judge about that once I've seen it in person. Me too, I was concerned about the lean over pose, but looking at the 360°, it's clear that it's just the angle the picture is taken from. It's 'the' classical Boba Fett pose. The only real weakness I see at this moment is the exclusive item. It's lame and pointless.

Exactly right, Josh. People need to try putting a 75+ pound jet pack on their back, and see just how straight they stand ;).

As for the 'lean back' - I think it's to do with the weight of the jet pack... on the original actor. If you have something heavey on your back, you will have a strange body pose.

sorry guys, as great as the character is, I won't be buying this one. I think the helmet shape is off a bit. The rest of it looks okay. The main thing is that all of the people who have waited for it seem to be happy enough and in my eyes thats the main thing.

I would have preferred the pose he has while standing next to Vader in the carbonite chamber. He isn't leaning for his jet pack... Infact, when he walks, he appears to have good posture.

I think the little lights in his chest armor would be more trouble that they're worth and jack the price up higher than would be worth it.

I think that a better exclusive would have been an alternate base, more elaborately sculpted. I like your idea of a fancier skiff base. Real metal with some nice weathering paint effects. The exclusive Han had an alternate base, and I had hoped that they would make future exclusives with fancier bases. This would have been a perfect opportunity, since there were no other obvious accessories.

I guess that doing an ESB Fett or including a Han in carbonite would be too much work and cause too much of a price increase over the regular version. They seem to want exclusives that are a nice bonus, but not mandatory. Both of these options would be manadatory for a lot of collectors, so it's good that they didn't go that route. However, I think that an alternate base would have been a great solution.


Just had another idea--they could have made a 1/4 scale Salacious Crumb to sit on the base next to him, and with Fett's adjustable head, he could be looking down at him in disgust, ready to blast him.

Ordered mine from Adam, his inventory showed he had 2, so I guess he now only has one left! I don't have any problems with the exclusive item (might kinda look neat mounted behind Fett), but I don't know if I'd even be ABLE to mount that disc directly behind him so that it looked the way it's intended. If Fett's on a top shelf, the wall's gonna be back away from him too far for the artifact to look like it should. If I put him in a lighted cabinet, I (maybe!) might be able to attach the artifact to the inside of the back of the shelf, except it would have to go directly behind him and wouldn't be able to be seen very well. If the cabinet has an open back, THEN where does the damn thing go?

I am glad you like it! However, I would much rather take a somewhat cool item, like the mouse droid - something that appeared in the movies than a wall plaque! I mean, I totally understand that a lot of effort went into making Fett and I am just glad he is being done, but that exclusive is weak. I would have rather had an alternative gun or something. The Leia PF gets another arm(!!!) and Fett, one of the most popular bad guys of all time, gets the weakest exclusive ever!

The logo is the symbol for the Mandalorians, a nomadic culture whose members are reputed as great warriors which is what makes them great bounty hunters and mercenaries. When the Kaminoans were commissioned to make clone warriors they used Jango Fett as the mold (as you know) Jango brought in other mandalorians to train the clones as well. Hmm, okay getting off topic, anyways the type of armour that Boba and Jango uses is Mandalorian and they're both of Mando heritage so that's what the exclusive is and why I like it.

I was unimpressed at first, but the more I think about it the more it grows on me. This, along with Leia's blaster, is an exclusive I will actually display. The Dagobah Luke is kinda iffy, but better with than without!
