Just wondering if anyone knows about the 'artist proofs' of the Frankenstein 1/4 scales (color version). I'm looking desperately for one of the color Frankenstein PF's, and they don't pop up too much, but found this one on eBay:

Anyone know if the seller is a board member? I'm watching the auction, will probably bid on it but had never heard there were artist proofs of these items. Comments? Thanks!! :monkey1

This same seller has a Vampyre Artist Proof also! These are the first Artist Proof monster 1/4 scales I have seen. But remember, Sideshow gave away a Darth Vader PF Artist Proof for the Flash Fiction contest, so I guess the PF figures have Artist Proofs also. The seller has 100% feedback so seems reliable. I would love to receive an Artist Proof from Sideshow one day... :monkey2

I'm going to keep an eye on the auction, I've just never heard of an AP's in the PF horror line, but who knows? I'm leaning towards bidding since the feedback is good. I guess there've been so many "artist proof" scams on eBay before, that I'm a little hesitant to make the leap. However, he DOES show the bottom of the box with the "AP" on it, so...
I reeeeeally want a colorized PF Frankie! :monkey2 :monkey3 :D

Hey Migsta, :wave you really should have sent an enquiry form to Sideshow, rather than alert the masses to this item. You aren't doing yourself any favours if you really want a colour PF Franky.

Hey, creech! Believe me, I was nervous about putting this out there, figured I was just setting myself up to lose an auction! Ah, well, if it's meant to be, it will be! :lol :wave

Most boards have policies related to referencing ongoing auctions....

I have seen an Artist Proof Vampyre before.
It was from a trusted seller with real pictures.
