I don't think it will take that long to make this one. Thor and Odin were released pretty fast as well. They aren't the most complicated figures, although it seems like Loki has the most complex outfit of the Thor line so far.

Here is the thing, these are all from the 2011 Catalog. Which means that they'd be products slated for this year. I'm assuming that those three are delayed items that are finally since light and while we probably won't get them until 2012, I have a feeling they'll all be orderable by the end of the year.

my only beef with them was the somewhat limiting rubber torso aror pieces... and even then, it's a minor complaint.

I'll agree, loki looks a little too buff. But i think it's just the armor. looks like he's on a standard truetype.

Thor has some of the worst leg articulation of any hot toys figure. His joints are so floppy under the weight of the torso/upper body that I can only pose him one way... standing. :/ Hope Loki is better.

Odin is clearly the best looking figure out of the 3 loki coming in right after! IMO. If you guys will remember a few years back the elder predator. You could find him cheap for a long time. This is awesome news. I'm glad Hot Toys has been working on villains for our figures to be played - er, I mean displayed with. An armored Whiplash and a non-extreme sports snowboarder villain from Spiderman would be lovely.

It's nice they've included the Casket of Ancient Winters but hopefully Red Skull will come with a Cosmic Cube for figures to fight over.

After getting my Iron Man mark IV today though I have a dilemma because my shelf looks so cool with Iron Man, Captain America and Thor all on it and would hate to break that up just so Thor can stand with Loki and Cap can stand with Red Skull so I'm thinking instead of breaking up the Avengers I'll have a baddies shelf!!

I'll be getting this and Red Skull. And while I'm a bigger comic Caltain America fan, I thought, when comparing Red Skull and Loki, Hiddleson's performance was better than Weaving's. Loki is the reason I really liked the Thor movie. I actually just bought HT Thor b/c of the announcement of Loki.

They charge a lot for figures these days anyway. I'm guessing this will be as expensive as Red Skull. And seeing that this one doesn't seem to come with an extra head or coat or whatever, they can throw in the lighting instead.

A light-up casket doesn't have to mean it's stuck on the base. They can make it so that the light sits in the base and only lits up the casket while placed on there. Sorta like an IM neck/helmet kind of thing.

Yeah, that could be a bit difficult indeed. It doesn't exactly look like an easy design for stuff like that.
