I'm not sure where I saw it posted, but someone was selling these on pre-order for $125 (or so) a piece. They looked nice, but I'm not a fan of the show.

I just got Alphonse and hi is big!!!!! and for $75 shipped his well worth it!!!! awesome figure!!!!

Sure did, and surprisingly I like Ed better... he ended up being a much cooler figure to pose and play around with. You definitely need the set :rock

Nice!!!!! i do need that Ed!!!!!! but theres a new one coming out! i dont know if to hold and get that one or get this one!

I think the new one is an older version of Ed, and personally I think this one looks cooler of the two. I also associate more with this look for Edward. I would also guess the new ones are less likely to be sold off at deep discounts like what happened with these.

I got my ed for $34 he is hard to stand sometimes because of the boots!

I had that problem at first... and what I noticed was it is a bit difficult to get his feet to lay flat in the boots. For some reason they feel like they are all the way in yet end up at a bit of an angle downward, which in turn makes him unbalanced.

After I got his feet to lay flat I had not more problems. And by the way, $34 is an insanely good deal :rock

I paid $82 shipped for mine, seeing that price now seem's odd. Mustang I really wanna get since he is my favorite character from the series. The new Al also looked nice but it was just an Ed with an Al head really....with some other minor changes.

I havnt checked in awhile, but a seller on ebay did have pictures of him. It was the Al from the movie, so that would mean that Ed movie version will be coming as well.

I guess that look for Al just isn't iconic enough for me to really get excited about him. But definitely glad I got the brothers when I did, seems I saved a bit of scratch on them.

an interesting note. the human alphanse is actually taller than ed. guess Ed is forever cursed w/ shortness. :D

German version was, and so was the norm one as well (but not as much if I recall).

I've seen that pic - I just assumed it was Ed, just redesigned for the movie. I didn't know their costumes were the same. That's kind of an easy pass, but might be different after I see the movie.

I think unless you really liked the movie the Al is not really a necessity. Might pick up the Mustang at some point. But the nice thing is just have the original Elric Bros I feel satisfied. But if I add Mustang then that means other releases would be harder to resist.

With these upcoming Anime figures from Medicom I could quickly forsee having a pretty kickass little collection. I really hope they revisit the Kenada figure, and add a Tetsuo :rock

After Mustang and movie Al I would hope they went for either Hugh's or Hawkeye. But also another nice thing to see from the would be the homunculus starting with lust.

yeah scar would be a great figure, but the tattoo on his arm would look funny with the joints and such. I was just saying the other so that the state alchemist group could be padded, and the homunculus for some baddies for ed and al.

this has got to be the most ridiculous price change. seriously, I have seen ed go as low as $40 and now that he's hard to come by, he and his brother have really sky rocketed. (guess the new mustang figure has something to do with as well)

These have always been pretty expensive outside the US. Now that Southern Island is no more, the prices have been steadily climbing inside the US. But if you are looking for these, they may still turn up cheap on eBay. According to this article, the liquidator of Southern Island's assets (including over 9700 inventory items) will be auctioning them off on eBay. They started on December 11 and are still auctioning stuff, but it appears to be in large lots. Here is their eBay page...

Sloth would require a new body type, maybe they'd do him vinyl like Al. I'd definitely give in to Lust.

I got Mustang - he's great - real pockets so he can put his hand in his pocket and he comes with a little flame spark that you can put on his hand - it looks very cool.

So you know, Sloth is the female homunculus that looks like trisha elric. Gluttony is the heavyset fellow that hangs around Lust.
