this pre charge stuff always confusses me!! I (unlike most here I think) use a debit card, in a "Fun" account...so I can only spend what I have in it...(NEVER GO INTO DEBT!!) I try to keep about $500.00 in it but when they do the pre-authorize it sucks all my money out of it. I got two charges today: one for $299.99 and one for $159.99 (I assume first is Hulk and the second is Kit and the shipping for everything)
...............but now I'm worried if it will be there once the real charge comes down...guess I will find out on Monday :confused: Why don't they just charge it one time when it ships?? :confused:

I got my notice for Kit and this the same day too and Kit should be here tomorrow. I ordered this off flex-pay, and it was supposed to be charged, the 5th, and still no charge. I'm concerned because Kit was charged to the wrong card, and I was wondering if they were having issues trying to charge me, but it looks like others haven't got charged yet either, so I won't call yet. I hope it ships out before Saturday, this way I should get it before SDCC, if someone is home to sign for it.

I too was expecting a charge on July 5th and finally emailed them to ask. I got a note back last night that they did it last night after checking my order and seeing that it wasn't done. So I'm guessing I should get a shipping notice soon? :confused:

Also, has anyone else looked at the pictures of this on the site lately? Maybe it's just me (and I hope it is), but the pictures look different to me. The pictures I remember seeing, had more of a matte paint scheme to them much like the picture on the right at the top. But the pictures at the bottom have a very shiney look to them. I'm hoping they are just bad pictures with flash glare b/c I'm not sure I like the shiney look.

I think those are the same pics. I don't see exactly what you are talking about but I do notice there is a lot of texture when you look at the Hulk's skin. I don't know how well (or if) this will translate to the final piece.

Never was a matte finish, if you saw the display pics posted from ToyFair you can see it is and has always been a shinier finish and looked very impressive, this thing is a HUGE piece and the sculpting and paint apps are AMAZING!

I guess this is one time the choice of shipping worked out for me. While I was one of the first to order, that order got cancelled and then reinstated with a higher order number. I thought that meant I would be the last to get it shipped. I'm sure that since there are only 50, the ones that didn't go out yesterday will be going out today.

I'll bet the people who didn't get one are really filled with compassion when they read these posts from the folks who are impatiently expecting their gray!!

Of course, Gray Hulk came from a completely different truck/driver than all my other packages usually do, and showed up around 6:30 PM instead of the usual 10-11 AM. Needless to say, I hope it's the old truck this time. (Only not the truck that drives my packages to Utah and loses them...)

# 273 came today! I was initially on the fence about ordering this item. I hadn't gotten the X-Men VS Sentinel yet, so I really didn't know how great this series was. I got one of the last 10-20 before they sold out just to be safe, I figured I might cancel it later if I really didn't want it. Then Toy Fair came and we got those great pics, pretty much made up my mind that I wanted this to compliment my other VS.

As I unpacked it today all I could say was "Holy ^^^^^!". No pics you've seen can do this peace justice. It is so big, not tall, but big none the less. This looks so great next to my Sentinel and I'm not sure about any of the other 2 VS pieces now because I think they are only mediocre next to these two.

Thank you SS. This is an amazing piece and you deserve some recognition for how truely awesome this thing is.

Couldn't agree more. I don't have the other "vs" dioramas but this is the beginning of my Marvel addiction starting with Hulk/Spidey. I knew one day it would come and sure enough as I opened the package......BAM! :google

It's funny. I was expecting a Sauron or a Doom PF size type of box. Instead when you see the box in it's average large size you realize this is a MASSIVE piece more than it is a BIG piece.

Hulk is heavy but not Doom PF heavy. Spidey looks fragile and inserting the traffic light is a semi-delicate process. Other than that it's a greatly designed sculpt. The main problem most people will have is displaying it.

My wife is upset because she has been waiting around for it all day. She wasn't even going to take a shower until FedEx showed up. She hasn't left the house or used the restroom all day waiting for them to show up and then they don't even ring the freaking bell. So she is constipated, her armpits stink, and she has wasted a whole day--and with no Hulk to show for it. And she didn't even know she missed it until almost three hours after the fact.

Thanks for not ringing, FedEx!!! I really wanted to see my Green Hulk before I left for SDCC. Heck, I really wanted to see it last week like everybody else.

I guess it goes to show that you can never predict what order Sideshow is going to ship out the numbers. Lots of times, the low ones go out first, but in this case, I was very pleasantly surprised to receive such a low number on an item that shipped later than many others. All of my stress and pessimism was for nothing. Now I just can't wait to get home from SDCC and see it in person. They don't have the Hulk diorama on display at SDCC, so the first Green Hulk I see in person will be my own.

How funny! That's exactly what happened! I thought that the odds were on my side with a low numbered gray (relative to the size of the line) and against me with the green, yet my expectations were confounded in both cases. Of course, my friend traded me grays and I now have #19. :D I think that if I had received green #44 I would have traded my friend back and had a matched set of green and gray #44 Hulks. :google

Both red lights stay on for about 10 seconds then fade away for about 2 seconds. At least on my gray one. The green hulk lights...I did not stare at them that long.
