One of my favorite Uni monsters - perfectly executed and really adds some color to all the grey, black, white monsters shelf.

Definitely get it... one of the most complete looking figures on my shelf. Not the most poseable sucker but they guys in thos suits were exactly pulling acrobatic stunts either :rotfl

Yeah, it's a terrific figure. I got mine through the Second Chance offer too some months back. You'd regret passing on it in years to come, I think.

That was actually Brant that gave it four stars - a guest reviewer. However, I endorse buying as well.

Yeah, you only gave him a paltry 3 1/2 stars on the shoot page (http://www.moviepoopshoot.com/toybox/162.html)... I guess that'd be a pass then :lol

I have the Mutant. It is a great figure that will assuredly be sought after in the coming years. Easily recogniseable in the pic above, but who is that other doll? :D

I picked one up on sale a few weeks ago and I really loved it. Well worth the $25.00 that I paid online.

I noticed in alot of your 1/6th scale reviews, Connor always makes a suprise appearance! I guess when you are an immortal, you get to travel alot more and meet new people---- and aliens, and monsters.:D

I noticed the Donald... but where is his review? My friend just picked one up MIB at a Flea Market for $4 (haggled down from $5) and I need to know if its worth the green :lol

Mister ugly-brain-vein is on its way... (bought him for 75 euros - maybe a little too much - the sideshow addiction is killing me ;-)

But you will LOVE him! This is one of my all-time favorite figures. The movie is a childhood memory for me, and the MST3K send-up just endears the movie to me all the more, since most of it IS pretty ridiculous! :lol
Let us know when MM arrives!

I was just gonna say that!!! This Island Earth was the first VHS movie I bought when I got my first VCR. I can't wait to add it to my DVD collection!!!!
An all time great film!!!

As an opened-minded classic horror fan, I personally didn't think the movie was that good. The mutant only has about 5 to 10 minutes of screentime.

LMK = Let me Know? (sorry English is not my strongest talent)
But let us presume this it what it means;
-I doubt I will not like the film-
I always found the older horror/fantastic ones have a more pleasant chilling sphere.
Not like the modern ones where the main thing is to disgust viewers (example: the brain eating in Hannibal baaaaaaaaaaah)

That being said, I'm not too big into modern horror, and I am a huge Universal Monsters buff. I just didn't like This Island Earth as a film. However the Mutant looks like a great figure, and I might plan to pick one up eventually.

Me too - I passed for the non Karloff Frankensteins ( I am afraid I will regret that in the future) and still have my doubts about buying Renfield.
The Count and the green swimmer are my favourites (but I must admit the others look perfect too)
And also Bond....: No Mister Bond, I expect you to collect them all ;-)
