Man I'm so getting these, really hope they are (somewhat) affordable considering you're gonna have to buy multiples to build the Hall of Armor..

I really like that it uses a power supply instead of batteries, and that you can switch out dead LEDs with the spares, means I'm actually gonna leave the lights on and not feel bad about it :)

I think that's what they are doing, minus the IM3 boxes. Come this time next year I bet the MK1 2.0, MKII AU, Gantry w/MKIV, and MKV will be sold out and popular on ebay, lol. We're bound to see a new MKIII at some point. It would be the perfect time to release their own armory display too, didn't they preview one?

It does look s h i t t y now so I personally took it apart and recycling the old Mark III: currently making a torso-only fig with cables sticking out everywhere, to be suspended. Hopefully HT will re-issue another Mark III with the new Mark II molds and proportions.

I really want to do this too. I've got all the armors except the Mark I and Mark VII (obviously) and the Hall of Armor bases from Hot Toys. I was just thinking of making my own.

I'm think Stark has the suit innovations down. I'm expecting and hoping he'll only feel the need to improve it once in IM3, so he'll start off with mark VII and create an improved mark VIII in the new movie.

Well, so be it. It still looks cool. Based on the production photos, I think I like this one better. Either way, who knows what the final product will actually look like in the movie. Based on what they have done with the rest of the suits, I'm sure they will deliver.

I was trying to get back on topic and referring to the HOA diorama but I agree. I think the patriotic armor by any name is cool as hell and I'm sure I will be buying it when it comes out regardless of how it's marketed.

I got 6. I took them out of the box but I haven't assembled them. I don't have the space at this time. But i wanted to get them because I saw them selling out in other places and who knows if HT will ever get this done. There is a thread on OSW where a member bought and assembled his and he has pics. I checked his out before I bought mine.

I have no clue how much the cost to produce, but i think if they could retail for @ $50, they'd sell a TON more. I only paid $120 for Odin and let than that for New Goblin, V1 Joker and Two Face. I can't see putting out as much as or close to a figure price for them. And I really like them. They would look phenominal with all 11 armors I have in them. ( quickly does the math $550 )

I like that idea. But there's a thread in the DC forum with a guy working on a BM armory display. Looked like the one in TDK with all the weapons displayed to each side of the suit. If I ever get bored with my HOA display(oh yes, I will have one) then I may go that route.

I couldn't agree more. I have talked to several people who have bought these and they all really like the way they look but feel the same, it should have been $50-$75 shipped. If they were, I probably would have bought 7 by now. For this price, I'll wait for the HT. I doubt theirs will be more than this and will probably be a bit more detailed. That and the fact I am not all that comfortable with there being nothing to secure the figure in there...
