Posted this on HT's FB page so hopefully they'll fix it before release.

..& while they're at it - take out the sound chip & swap the die-cast for plastic.

    Deal, HT?

Hot Toys re-emphasizes the 'Toys' part of their name.

But I could do without silly talking features on Robocop, or Vader's flashing lights.

Really, I could do without any electronics in Hot Toys' figures. I take the batteries out of all of them.

Anyone notice the movie Robocop has a button on the back like the figure? I just noticed this. Look at the bottom left photo I posted above.

    it was like this:
    i said "wow, sound button"
somebody said "an actual movie suit detail"
somebody said "oops, a stupid button on a figure"
somebody said "no, an actual movie suit detail"
somebody said "hey, a button on a figure"
somebody said "no, an actual movie suit detail"
repeated N times and i don't know if i was the first in that loop ))

Peter Weller's dialogue activation button, installed at the request of Verhoeven:

And on that page there was a little on the colour of the suits:

The RoboCop suits was [were!] painted in a variety of ways on different films. The first and third suits were very gray, whereas the suit in 2 tended towards a very plasticy blue. The suit in RoboCop:Prime Directives is back to the original gray colour scheme (albeit seriously battle-damaged).

The RoboCop suits are more green than anything when seen in real life - they're painted with a special photoreactive paint that registers metallic on film.
